Mekapati lashes out at Anam for remarks on Jagan
YSR Congress party leader and MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy on Friday fired at Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy for his remarks against Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.
He expressed shock over the Anam’s comments as he was the man, who had made a comment that the State would remain an open furnace if Jagan was denied the post of Chief Minister. He also recalled that Anam had celebrated Jagan’s birthday in Nellore with huge cutouts to grab the attention of Jagan.
The reason behind his remarks now against Jagan might be appeasing the party’s Delhi leaders, Mekapati said and added that Late YSR had given them political life to the Anam brothers. He said the people of Nellore would teach a lesson to Anam in the next elections as they were on the close observation on the ongoing events.
The MP said Anam’s younger brother Jayakumar Reddy had approached him to join YSR party. The Minister was making remarks with fear of insecurity and he was doing it for political mileage. Mekapati warned that people would no longer keep silent if they make wild allegations.
