YSRCP MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy being shifted to hospital in New Delhi - Sakshi Post

New Delhi: Among the YSR Congress Party MPs who are on indefinite hunger strike in New Delhi at AP Bhavan, YSRCP MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy showed signs of illness since this morning. Though medical tests were conducted and he was advised not to sit on a hunger strike, Mekapati insisted that he continue to take part in the indefinite hunger strike. However, this afternoon, after his health condition further deteriorated he was forcibly shifted to hospital by doctors who examined his medical status.

YSRCP MPs went on an indefinite hunger strike from yesterday in protest against AP not being granted Special Category Status. Mekapati was unwell since yesterday, but continued to take part in the protest.

This morning the YSRCP MP had severe headache and showed high BP. After a preliminary check-up by doctors at AP Bhavan, he was asked to be shifted to the hospital. Though Mekapati did not budge from his place, he was forcibly sent to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital by the police.
