Meet with Modi satisfactory: TRS

“The meet of Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao with Prime Minister Narendra Modi took place satisfactorily,” said TRS MPs Vinod Kumar and Jitendar Reddy.

Speaking to reporters in New Delhi on Saturday, the TRS MPs said: “Narendra Modi promised KCR for solving the power problem in the state. He also promised the chief minister that his government would take steps for establishing Bayyaram Steel Plant, Horticulture University and NTPC unit in Telangana. The prime minister promised him to take steps for the development of solar power in Telangana.”

The MPs said that the chief minister had explained to the prime minister on the importance of recent  Intensive Household Survey taken up by Telangana government.

“In the meeting, Modi requested KCR to send the details of the survey to the union government. On the occasion, KCR informed the prime minister that he had taken the initiative of a dialogue with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu,” explained the MPs.
