Medical Devices Park To Be Launched In Telangana

Hyderabad: A dedicated ecosystem for MedTech innovation and manufacturing - Telangana Medical Devices Park - will be launched on June 17 at Sultanpur village in Medak district. Minister KT Rama Rao on Wednesday said Hyderabad which is known for its leadership in bulk drug and life sciences industry, adds another feature to its cap with the launch of a dedicated MedTech Park.

The park, which is coming up in an area of 250 acres, will have facilities to support innovation, research and development, and industrial scale manufacturing. Education, training, research and incubation facilities to encourage entrepreneurship and innovation, dedicated social infrastructure for the people working in the cluster will be provided.

"Hyderabad already has a holistic ecosystem in terms of research facilities, engineering and medical talent, connect between research and medical ecosystem, manufacturing infrastructure, a strong local market, and supply chain and connectivity to all the important global export market," an official release said.
