Medak school bus accident delivered a triple blow to an unfortunate family. Both the children - Razia and Wahed - died in the mishap that occurred at the unmanned railway level-crossing in Masaipet village of Medak district.

Both the kids are from Krishnapur village and were students of the Kakatiya Techno School, whose bus met with the accident.

On hearing about the mishap, the 40-year-old father of the children suffered cardiac stroke and had to be rushed to a nearby hospital. He later died while undergoing treatment at the hospital. Meanwhile, unconfirmed reports say that the mother of the children too had died of shock.

Kakatiya school management goes into hiding

Members of the Kakatiya Techno School management are absconding ever since the tragedy of Masaipet bus-train tragedy took place.

According to reports, soon after the incident happened, the management of the school, including the principal, went into hiding. The school gate was also found locked.

The parents and relatives of the deceased children blamed the bus driver for over-speeding and negligence while crossing the unmanned gate. Nanded-Secunderabad passenger train hit the vehicle when the bus was crossing the unmanned gate around 9 am. 

Minister Harish Rao blamed negligence by the railways for the ghastly accident. He also said that railways failed to install a gate despite repeated representations by the local people and public representatives.
