Hyderabad: A plastic warehouse near bairamalguda near LB Nagar was gutted after a massive fire broke out in the early hours of Tuesday.

Electric short circuit seems to have caused the accident, according to the fire officials. P Nagi Reddy, Station Fire Officer, Hayathnagar, said: “The fire operation went on for nearly eight hours."

A huge team of fire extinguishers comprising 35 personnel were rushed to the spot to douse the flames which went on for over eight hours, it is learnt. The LB Nagar police has registered a case and investigating if there are any other reasons for the fire breakout.
