Manda slams news reports, denies joining TRS

Reacting to news appeared in a section of the press that he was joining TRS, Congress MP Manda Jagannadham on Sunday slammed the reports as false stating that he met TRS chief KCR as an MP.
There was no chance for any speculations, Manda affirmed.
He expressed hope that the Congress party would give separate Telangana state. He however, warned that two more MPs and some MLAs would quit the party if Telangana demand was not conceded.
Manda Jagannadham met KCR and had a three-hour-long meeting with him on Saturday evening. Soon after the meeting, the MP was not available for an explanation over the meeting. Newspapers carried reports that he was joining TRS and KCR had assured him of party ticket from Nagarkurnool in 2014 polls.
