Man wants to meet Mahesh Babu, gets duped

Hyderabad: In an incident that is straight out of film ‘Money’, a person duped a film-crazy youth from Mahabubnagar on the pretext of arranging a meeting with Prince Mahesh Babu.

Prem, an aspiring script writer and lyricist, wanted to meet Mahesh Babu. Knowing this, Shashi, a tout, posed as Mahesh Babu’s agent and demanded Rs 10,000 to arrange a meeting with Mahesh Babu.

Prem wanted to narrate some scripts to to the hero and paid Rs 5,000 as a first installment. After taking the amount, Shashi simply stopped answering the calls.
Prem lodged a complaint with the police, who registered a cheating case and are investigating.
