Man thrashed for asking his pension

Eluru: A local TDP corporator thrashed a senior citizen when he demanded his oldage pension.
The pensioner, identified as Tirumalasetti Raju, went all the way to corporator Polisetti Tulasiram's office to know the reason why he was not getting pension. An enraged corporator, his mother and some acolytes thrashed him. He was attacked on the head with a bottle.The bleeding man was immediately taken to nearby hospital by on-lookers. However, the corporator said that Raju was drunk and hit himself with a bottle on his head.
