Man Sets Wife On Fire Right After Divorcing Her 

China: A harrowing footage has surfaced showing a man setting his ex-wife ablaze minutes after divorcing her. The incident took place on Wednesday at Chinese divorce office in Panshi city.

The 36-second-long video shows the man pouring gasoline on her ex-wife and then setting on fire. The video shows woman’s hair burning and the man walking away unperturbed.

The woman is seen trying to salvage her by taking her top off to douse the fire but she was only rescued when the nearby staff rushes with fire extinguisher and spray it over her.

They have divorced and would live separate lives anyway. What’s the point of doing this?

No case has been registered and it is not known whether the man has been charged for arson. Meanwhile, the video has gone viral on Chinese micro-blogging site ‘Weibo’ with many users opining their views out.

It has been reported that last year more than 3.84 million Chinese couples had divorced.
