Man’s suicide bid in Collector’s presence
A man attempted to commit suicide in the presence of District Collector in East Godavari district on Monday.
The incident occurred when the Collector was addressing at Prajavani programme. Veerraju, a native of Jangareddygudem in West Godavari district made suicide attempt by consuming poisonous drug alleging that his land was grabbed by others.
The victim was admitted to a nearby hospital and his condition is said to be stable.
