Man Roughed Up For Speaking In English; 3 Held

New Delhi: In a strange incident, a man was beaten up in Delhi for speaking in English with his friend. So far, three persons were arrested and hunt is on to nab the other two. Varun Gulati (22) went to a five-star hotel in Connaught Place to drop off his friend Aman in his friend's car on Saturday.

While, he returned from the hotel after dropping his friend, a group of five in an inebriated state pounced at him. They then questioned Gulati why was he speaking in English. The two parties got into argument and then roughed up Gulati. Although the accused managed to escape, Gulati noted down their vehicle number. A case has been registered and officials are looking out to nab the other two.
