Man robbed of Rs 66 lakh

One person, who worked as an accountant at a garment trader here was allegedly robbed of Rs 66 lakh by unidentified persons, who assaulted him with iron rods, police said.

The incident took place on Banjara Hills at around 11 AM on Friday, when the victim was on his way to deposit the money in bank.

Banjara Hills police are conducting investigations.
