Man makes his parents drink acid for property in Hyd

A senior citizen died and her husband is battling for life in a property dispute in Alwal area. According to reports, a person identified as Devenand forced his parents Lakshmibai and Ramamurthy to consume acid. He had a dispute with his parents over a house.
The incident occurred at Janaki Nagar under the limits of Old Alwal. Devanand allegedly forced his parents to consume acid. Unable to bare the harassment of their son, Lakshmi Bhai and Ramamurthi consumed acid on Friday morning. Lakshmi Bhai died on the spot, while Ramamurthi condition is stated to be critical. He was rushed to the Gandhi hospital. Police registered a case and launched a manhunt to nab the accused.
