Man kills son over monetary dispute

Ongole: In a shocking incident, a person killed his son over monetary dispute in Vijayawada on Friday.According to the police, Muppa Mohan (28), a resident of Mundlamuru mandal, was killed by his father Ramaswamy during a dispute over money, which the former demanded from the latter.

Mohan, the police said, had been demanding money from his father for quite sometime and met him on Friday morning. He and his father got into a heated argument on money matters, during which, Ramaswami and his brother's son Hanumanth Rao bludgeoned Mohan to death.

And left his son in a deceased situation, taking the help of his brother's son Hanumanth Rao and fled from the spot.

Mohan's uncle Madala Srinu, who accompanied him, rushed into the house hearing the shouts and found Mohan dead. He alerted the police. Deputy Superintendent of Police Sriram babu, Circle Inspector K. Raghavendra along with others visited the place and registered a case.

Mohan and his father Ramaswamy were embroiled in financial disputes for quite sometime. Mohan is facing case pertaining to killing his brother. After the killing, Mohan moved to Vijaywada. Last year, his father sold some property and Mohan wanted some share of it.
