Man kills brother's family over property dispute
The accused Anand and his brother, Sivakumar, used to frequently quarrel over a property that they owned. On Sunday night, Anand attacked Sivakumar (38), his wife Nagaratnamma (32) and son Gangadhar with a knife while they were fast asleep. While Sivakumar and nagaratnamma died on the spot, the young Gangadhar was critically injured.
Neighbours and relatives, who learnt about the incident on Monday morning, rushed Gangadhar to a nearby hospital.
