Man held with 50 gms heroin, fake currency

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Police arrested an alleged drug offender from Thondupally village in the city's outskirts on Friday and also seized fake currency.

Based on a tip-off, a police team nabbed U Mahesh and seized about 50 grams of heroin and fake currency with a face value of Rs 83,000 from his possession, a release from Cyberabad Police said. The offender used to visit celebrity events, carnivals and colleges to dispose off narcotic drugs, it added. Further investigation into the case is on.
