Man Held For Sending Mails To Girl’s Fiance To Cancel Marriage

Accused Moghal Feroz Baig - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: Rachakonda cyber crime police on Thursday arrested a man for allegedly sending hurtful emails to the fiance of a girl.

The accused has been identified as Moghal Feroz Baig, a resident of Begumpet. According to the police commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat, the accused tried to befriend the complainant, a resident of Malkajgiri, when she joined a BPO. However, the woman refused his interest.

When he learnt that the woman was engaged to an NRI and would be quitting the job soon after the marriage, the accused managed to find the email ID of the woman's fiance through her friends. Then he created a new email ID through which he sent emails to the fiance to create doubt about the character of the girl and advised him not to marry her. The mails resulted in creating suspicion and him not visiting India for the wedding scheduled in the last week of February 2017.

When the woman came to know that Feroz has played the game, she lodged a complaint with the Cyber Crime cell of Rachakonda police. The case was handled by a team led by Inspector Riyazuddin who also found that the victim's facebook account was hacked.
