Man Held For Raping Step-Daughter

Hyderabad: A 36-year-old man was arrested on Saturday for allegedly raping his stepdaughter in Hayathnagar.

M. Santosh Reddy was earlier arrested for raping the 13-year-old girl and was out on bail after three months. According to the police, the mother of the victim is in live-in relationship with the accused since 2011. The accused raped the girl earlier this year and had sent to the jail. When he was released from the jail after three months, he apologized the mother and continued the relation.

On June 18, he took the girl and travelled to Sindanur in Karnataka where he kept the girl in a government primary school and raped her repeatedly. Later on June 22, he dropped the girl at a Bus stop in Hyderabad and fled away. The mother of the girl lodged a complaint with police against Santosh.

The police arrested him from Raichur in Karnataka and sent him to remand.
