Man hearing music on cellphone dies

In a bizarre incident, a person, who was listening to music on his cell phone while charging it and slept, succumbed to burns.

The incident occurred at Nallappagaripalle in Tsundupalli mandal of YSR Kadapa district. Sriramulu, 35, slipped into deep slumber while listening music from his mobile phone keeping it on his chest while it was on charging mode. Mat on which Sriramulu was sleeping caught fire with electric short circuit from mobile charger. He received 70 per cent burns and died. He is survived by wife and son. The incident left the villagers in grief.
