Man defames women on social networking site, arrested

Hyderabad,  A 30-year-old man was arrested today for allegedly posting abusive and threatening messages against some women by creating accounts on a social networking site, police said.

The accused K Balaiah Balu bore grudge against his former classmate for refusing to help him in pursuing his love affair with her friend who had spurned his proposal, the Cyber Crime police said.

Balu, traced his classmate's account on a social networking site and downloaded pictures from her profile. He created another profile and posted her photos there along with abusive and vulgar comments.

Later, he also sent threatening messages to her, police said. Balu also allegedly created another account and threatened other women, (all are his classmates), police added.
