Vizag: Depressed over Centre's ignorance demands for creation of a railway zone for Vizag, a 32-year-old man committed suicide by jumping in front of a train at Marripalem. The incident took place on April 7 but came to light on Tuesday after the contents of his suicide note were leaked. The police had suppressed the matter after registering a case of suicide as it would flare up emotions among the people who are already fighting for a railway zone in Vizag.

Padi Sivaprasad wrote in his letter to the Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu that he was committing suicide only because he failed to persuade the Centre for the formation Vizag railway zone. Without a railway zone, youth of Andhra Pradesh will not get their share in jobs, Prasad wrote.
