Man Celebrates His Divorce, Distributes 50 Kg Sweets 

Surat: Call it bizarre or a mad rush of adrenaline, but a man from Gujarat celebrated his divorce by distributing 50 kg of kaju barfi. Rinkesh Rachchh got married three years ago and everything appeared rosy in the beginning. He thought that occasional tiffs are not uncommon in relationship. But things got worse when his wife asked him to get separate from his family.

"Initially I thought that differences are inevitable when two people are living together and time will fix things. But the condition went from bad to worse with each passing day. It turned so bad that she refused to stay with my family," he said.

Asked about why he distributed sweets, the 26-year-old says that he is not celebrating it but actually trying to create awareness that many women misuse the legal safeguards provided to them by the law. He also sounded positive about his future and said he might marry again.

"If ever I find a suitable match for myself, I will definitely get married again," says Rinkesh
