A person in YSR district brought fake currency notes to a bank to pay back his loan in Badvel town.

As per reports, the defaulter had deposited gold in exchange of a loan of Rs 2 lakh. However when he repaid Rs 2 lakhs to the bank, Rs.1.60 lakhs were found to be fake. The bank officials identified the same and handed over the notes to the police.

It is yet to be ascertained if these notes were brought by mistake or intentionally. As some political leaders are distributing fake currency notes to the voters, the investigation is also going on in that angle.
