Man Attempts to Kill Lover in Church to End Their Sinful Relation

Kurnool: As the entire church was deeply submerged in the worship of the prince of peace on Sunday at CSI church in Kurnool, a man in his 40s attempted to kill a woman by breaking her head with a hammer.With the sudden burst of cries of the woman, the devotees opened eyes from their prayer only to find the lady doctor Himabindu panting in a pool of blood with her head badly smashed. The attacker wanted the people to kill him in retaliation, but the church goers couldn't do that. They handed over the misrceant to the police instead.

The ghastly incident took place at the CSI church in Kurnool on Sunday during a morning prayer meeting. The woman, a medical practitioner and also suffering from some seriour illness, is living away from her husband for a few years and the attacker Pradeep Kumar is said to be in a relation with her. He is reportedly not in his proper mental condition and muttered a few words after the attack. According to what is understood from his words, they both wanted to end their relationship by killing themselves. As planned, he would kill her in the church and then the enraged people would kill him in reaction. Now the woman is undergoing treatment in a critical condition and the man ended up in police custody.
