Man Attempts Suicide At Telangana Secretariat 

Hyderabad: A 37-year-old man attempted suicide by consuming poison on the premises of the Telangana secretariat on Friday.

Devaiah belonging to Timmapur village of Nirmal district, had come to the secretariat along with his wife and two daughters. He suddenly consumed a liquid from a bottle and fell unconscious on the ground, a senior police officer attached to Central Zone said, based on preliminary investigation. However, the police immediately got him shifted to a nearby private hospital, the officer added.

A note was found with him stating that he was facing land allocation problem for the past three years and hence he was resorting to take the extreme step. “ MLA Vittal Reddy, Minister Indrakaran Reddy and Nirmal Joint Collector Shiva Lingayya are responsible for my death,” the note said.

However, the police said no case was registered in connection with the incident.
