Man arrested on suspicion at CM's meet - Sakshi Post


Police take a person into custody when he was moving suspiciously at the dais, from where Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy was about to address at G K Veedhi in Visakhapatnam district on Sunday.

The police took him away for further questioning. He is suspected to be a Maoist sympathiser. Following the incident, the police stepped up security measures. Kiran Kumar Reddy was visiting a tribal welfare hostel at GK Veedhi village along with Union Minister for Rural Development Jairam Ramesh. He was unveiling a pylon of Prime Minister’s grameena sadak yojana programme. Since G K Veedhi was known for its Maoist activities, the police made elaborate security arrangements.
