Man arrested for trying to force 22-yr-old girl in flesh trade

Vizianagaram (AP): A man was on Monday arrested in Vizianagaram for allegedly cheating a 22-year-old girl on the pretext of providing her a job, and trying to push her into flesh trade in Dubai.

35-year-old P Srinivasa Rao, a resident of West Godavari district, had promised the girl that he would provide her a job in Hyderabad and had collected some of her photographs and certificates, Additional SP of Vizianagaram A V Ramana said.

The girl, a resident of Biyyalavalasa area in Kurupam, travelled to Vizag along with him, where he provided her with a passport and told her that he will send her to Dubai.

The girl and her father, however, got to know the truth and managed to flee, following which they approached the police and lodged a complaint. The alleged trafficker has been arrested, police said.
