Man Arrested For Making Obscene Calls To Women

Hyderabad: One Srigirisetti Sridhar has been arrested by Central Crime Station on Thursday for making phone calls to scores of women to harass them using foul language.

Although more than 100 women have been harassed none came forward to complain

Police said that the accused used multiple SIM cards and then switched the numbers to harass the same woman several times. Sridhar got the phone number of the victims through websites and then used to target them just for fun.

“Although more than 100 women have been harassed none came forward to complain,” said Kavita, Assistant Commissioner of Police.

The 38-year-old man made obscene calls to 35 women and are investigating as how he managed to get large number of SIM cards, police said.

The accused was shifted to Hyderabad from his native Mattepally village in Nalgonda district.
