Major fire at chemical factory creates panic

Tension gripped Kukatpally area in Hyderabad after a major fire broke out in a chemical factory. 

A major fire broke out in a chemical factory at Kukatpally on Friday afternoon, destroying all the chemicals stored in it.

According to reports, five fire engines were pressed into service to douse the flames. No casualties have been reported so far. As the thick smoke and flames enveloped the factory, the residents of the area feared that it would spread to other buildings too.

The police has evacuated people from the other buildings in the neighborhood.
