Major boat capsize averted in Godavari

A major mishap of boat capsize was averted in Godavari river at Pattiseema in West Godavari district.

The launch ferrying the devotees on the occasion of Mahashivarathri hit a punt at Pattiseema. As there was huge jerk in the launch, cries of devotees for help reverberated the area. However, reports stated that there was no causality in the incident. The devotees reached ashore safely.
