It is for the first time, Mahesh Babu is playing a politician’s role in his upcoming flick Bharath Ane Nenu. Mahesh Babu portrays Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister’s role in the film, as has been widely reported. On account of Republic Day, January 26, the film producers had released an oath-taking ceremony audio clip of Mahesh Babu. Latest buzz among the film circles is--How long will Mahesh Babu be seen as the Chief Minister in the film? Will he be seen in the complete film as a Chief Minister or only for some time? This has become a hot topic among the movie buffs!

Rumors are flying thick and fast that Mahesh will not be seen in full length role of Chief Minister. Mahesh is an NRI, who stays in London. Later, Mahesh Babu shifts to Hyderabad where he accidentally ends up being the Chief Minister. He will be seen only for half an hour in the Chief Minister’s role but the whole plot is based on politics and education system in the state. Director Koratala Siva, it appears, is attempting to communicate a message through the film. It may be recalled that in Srimanthudu, he had showcased adopting villages inspiring many people to take up the idea.

Bharath Ane Nenu produced by DVV Danaya and is slated for release on April 21. It is worth mentioning here that Mahesh's Bharath Ane Nenu first vision will be out on March 6, though whether it is a video or audio remains a mystery. Mahesh Babu fans have already started countdown for the Bharath Vision.

Bollywood actress Kiara Advani of MS Dhoni-The Untold Story fame plays a female lead in the film. The film unit is currently on the last leg of the shoot and they will be heading for the final schedule to the UK in the next week.
