Mahesh Film Is Original Work: Vamshi Paidipally

Vamshi Paidipally, Mahesh Babu - Sakshi Post

Plagiarism is the most discussed subject in Tollywood, from inspiration to direct lift of themes to scenes to complete film; Telugu film industry grew rapidly. But all these came to a standstill after a big budget film, starring Power star Pawan Kalyan and directed by none other than Trivikram Srinivas, Agnyaathavaasi was proved to be direct lift of French film, and without even acknowledging it at any point.

Reports suggest that Nani's recent release of Awe was also based on an American TV series called “Sybil” (2007) and Hollywood film “Identity” (2003). Though many were mentioning about the basis of Awe, Nani could manage to escape without much affect on his film as well as on his image. If only media had taken it up, the situation would be worse than Agnyaathavaasi.

Latest we hear that, Mahesh Babu's next flick will be directed by Vamsi Paidipally. A strong buzz doing the rounds it would be also a copy of a Hollywood film. This rumor has reached the director Vamsi and he clarified by stating that the new is fake and somebody was intentionally harp the progress of the film. The reason for all this is because Oopiri was also a film based on Hollywood flick, so people were thinking that he might do another remake. But Vamsi was fair enough to acknowledge the inspired film in his Oopiri.

Earlier, Vamsi had delivered two blockbuster hits "Brindavanam” and “Oopiri” and the audience are expecting Mahesh's next film is likely to be family drama. An official confirmation about the same is awaited.

On the career front, Mahesh Babu is currently busy with the shoot of Bharat Ane Nenu which is set for a grand release on April 20. It is being directed by Koratala Siva and produced by D.V.V. Danayya.
