Mahesh Babu and the fear of Zero

The first look of Mahesh-Murugadoss flick is all set for release on March 10. But, the film doesn't have a title as of now.

The unit has been mulling over a slew of names like Sambhavami, Marmam, Vasco Da Gama and Chattaniki Kallu Levu. Most unit members okayed the title Sambhavami. But, Mahesh Babu strongly opposed it.

The reason? According to highly placed sources, Mahesh feels that any film title that has 0 in its Telugu spelling is doomed. Call it superstition or idiosynacracy, but Mahesh strongly believes that all his films that had 0 in the Telugu spelling had bombed at the box-office.

Vamsi, Takkaridonga, Brahmotsavam and Nizam were among the worst flops in his career and all had 0 in their Telugu spellings.

That, sources say, is the reason why Mahesh is staunchly opposing the title Sambhavami for Murugadoss flick. Though everyone is Okay with the title, Mahesh wants another title for the film. Sources close to the unit say that the film's title could be either Abhimanyu or Marmam.
