Madhupriya gets hitched, finally

Adilabad: Popular young folk singer Madhupriya got married despite her parents' disapproval. The wedding was held at the Kalyana mantapam in Sirpur Kagaz Nagar on Friday evening. She married her beau Sreekanth, with whom she has been in love for two years.

Earlier to this, both the parents of lovers had complained against each other at Kagajnagar Police Station on Friday morning. Police and Madhupriya’s parents tried to counsel the young lovers as they are still in a tender age and the singer had barely became a major.

The folk singer’s parents tried to dissuade her and advised her to focus on her career than getting married at this young age.  But reportedly, Madhupriya was stubborn and determined to get hitched with her lover only.

Even Singer’s parents pleaded her that they would get her married on their marriage day, for which Madhupriya did not agree. By this steadfast decision of young singer, her parents went out from the police station in distress.

The singer has been in love for two years with Sreekanth , who belongs to Adilabad Disrict. The duo decided to get married in Adilabad, grooms place, on Friday morning but the wedding was disturbed as her parents approached police regarding this marriage without their consent.
