Lovers commit suicide by hanging from tree in Nalgonda

In a shocking incident, a couple, Veera Swamy and Mounika, committed suicide by hanging themselves from a tree in Nalgonda district.

They took the extreme step in the outskirts of Mellacheruvu village.

Veera Swamy belongs to Munagala mandal and Mounika belongs to Mellacheruvu.
Swamy was working as a daily labourer at Keerthi Cements at Mella Cheruvu village. At that time, Mounika used to sell vegetables nearer to the cement factory.

The duo fell in love, however their alliance was vehemently opposed by Mounika's parents, as this would have been Swamy's second marriage.  

As per the reports, Swamy wanted to marry Mounika so that the latter can beget him a son, as he already had two daughters from his first marriage.
