Lorry Rams into House, Four Dead - Sakshi Post

A lorry rammed into a house on the Chennai-Kolkata national highway in the early hours of Saturday, killing four people on the spot.

According to police, the accident occured in Ganapavaram village of Nadendla mandal. The lorry was travelling from Ongole to Vijayawada when it hit the roadside house. Two of the dead have been identified as B Bhaskar Rao (70) and his wife Punyavati (60). The identity of the other two is yet to be ascertained, police said.

Police suspect that the lorry driver might have fell asleep while driving. They have shifted the dead to the hospital for post-mortem and have registered a case.
