Lokesh Sworn In at BAC Room, Other MLCs Take Oath In Council Hall

Amaravati: In a move that is sure to raise the hackles of the Opposition, Andhra Pradesh chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu's son Nara Lokesh was administered oath as the MLC in the Business Advisory Committee room, while all the other nine MLCs had taken oath in the council hall. Lokesh was administered oath separately to enable Vedic scholars chant special benedictory mantras for him. The oath of office was administered by chairperson of the AP Legislative Council A Chakrapani.

According to TDP sources, Lokesh is likely to be made a minister soon

Besides Lokesh, Karanam Balarama Krishna Murthy, Dokka Manikya Varaprasad, Batchula Arjunudu, M Ravindranatha Reddy, G Deepak Reddy, Pothula Sunita of the TDP, Alla Nani of the YSRCP, PVN Madhav of the BJP, K Narasimha Reddy and Y. Srinivasulu Reddy of the Progressive Democratic Front also were sworn-in as MLCs.
