Local YSRCP leader killed in road accident

A local YSRCP leader was killed in a road accident on Friday near Ramireddygari village of Pulicherla mandal in Chittoor district.

According to reports, Kolle Prabhakar (50), who was a prominent leader of Pulicherla mandal, was killed when his two- wheeler was hit by a APSRTC bus.
The APSRTC bus, going from KK Peta to Pileru hit Prabhakar's two- wheeler which was coming from the opposite direction, resulting in instant death of Prabhakar and injuring Veerabhadrayya, who was riding pillion with Prabhakar.
Prabhakar was thrown under the rear wheels of the bus, while Veerabhadrayya escaped with minor injuries. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where his condition was said to be stable. The Pulicherla police have registered a case.
 Party activists from Pileru, Kalluru and Pulicherla offered their last respects to Prabhakar.
