Live-in relationship kills women

Visakhapatnam: In a shocking incident, a 28-year-old woman who worked as a host at events has allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence in Arilova area after being harassed by her live-in partner.

The deceased was identified as D Sujana who reportedly was in live-in relationship with Suresh Varma for past two years after her divorce.

 She used to work as a host for local stage shows. According to police, Varma used to pick fight with Sujana suspecting her character following which she used to be depressed.

A case has been registered under section 174 of CrPC, said Arilova zone police station inspector Ch Dhanunjaya Naidu.
