Life a living hell for farmers in Babu rule: CPI

CPI State Secretary Ramakrishna said Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu was making life a living hell for the farmers and women-folk in the state.

Speaking to reporters at Anantapur on Saturday, he said, “Chandrababu came to power by promising crop loan waiver. It is two months since he came to power, but he did precious little to improve the lot of the farmers.”

Chandrababu is not responding even when the bankers are giving notices to farmers asking them to repay their loans. “If the chief minister can’t waive off loans of farmers, the state government will fall within a year,” predicted Ramakrishna.
