Legality for ‘Bangaru Talli’ soon: CM Kiran - Sakshi Post


Legal statute would be ensured for ‘Bangaru Talli’ programme shortly after discussing in the Cabinet, said Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Sunday.

Addressing a public meeting at Eluru in West Godavari district, Kiran Reddy said the government was thinking of adding some more cooking materials for ‘Amma Hastham’. He added that Opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu has not liked ‘Amma Hastham’ scheme. CM said the government had disbursed loans worth Rs 16,500 crore for women this year alone. Jairam Ramesh, who also shared the dais with the Chief Minister, requested him to abolish the belt shops in the state. Reacting on the request, Kiran Reddy said steps would be taken for removing belt shops.
