Lawyer accused of cheating, rape
Hyderabad, City Police on Friday registered a case of rape and cheating against a lawyer. The accused, whose name was not revealed by police, allegedly had a relationship with a 32-year-old married woman since August.
The woman had met the lawyer over her dispute with the husband, and the lawyer attempted to take advantage of her, according to her complaint.
Later, he promised to marry her, and had an intimate relationship with her, Langer House Police Inspector N B Ratnam said. Further investigations were on.
