Lakshmi’s Veeragrandham Shooting Disrupted

Ketireddy Jagadeeshwar Reddy stages progest at NTR Ghat after police stopped the shooting on Sunday
Hyderabad: Telugu matinee idol and the late chief minister Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao's biopics are announced by his son, actor-MLA Balakrishna and also by Ram Gopal Verma. Another producer Ketireddy Jagadeshwar Reddy is the latest to join the band wagon; he not only announced the movie but also started the shooting of the movie at NTR Garden in the city on Sunday.
However, the police obstructed the shooting as the makers did not have necessary permission. Protesting against the police action, Jagadeeshwar Reddy staged a dharna at the site and alleged that Lakshmi Parvati was creating problems for his movie. He said he will go ahead with movie despite obstacles as his project was intended to reveal some untold facts about NTR.

Veeragrandham is the surname of Lakshmi Parvati’s estranged husband Subba Rao from whom she took divorce after entering NTR’s life as a biographer. Reddy said he is trying to rope in senior actresses like Rekha or Aishwarya Rai as he is making the film in Hindi and for a national audience.
