Lagadapati gets a taste of Samaikyandra medicine

Lagadapati Rajagopal faced the ire of Samaikyandhra activists at the Nagarjuna university in Guntur on Saturday morning.

Students and activists stopped Lagadapati who had gone to support Samaikyandhra movement and asked him to first quit his post.

After facing flak from people, the MP reiterated that he would quit politics if the state was divided. There was every chance of the Bill being passed if the voice against bifurcation was not raised in the Parliament.

Samaikyandhra activists gherao TG's house

Teachers JAC attacked the house of minister TG Venkatesh and MLA KE Prabhakar demanding their resignations in support of Samaikyandhra movement  in Kurnool district on Saturday.

In a novel way of protest, the Teachers JAC threw one rupee coins at their houses. Police swiftly stopped the protests, arresting the activists.

Meanwhile, house of BJP senior leader M. Venkaiah Naidu was attacked by a Samaikyandhra supporter. While raising slogans in favour of Samaikyandhra, the activists demanded that the BJP leader resign from his post immediately.
