Lagadapati asks Digvijaya not to divide state

Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal met AICC general secretary and state Congress affairs in-charge Digvijay Singh in New Delhi on Friday.
It is learnt that he requested Digvijaya Singh not to divide the state and explained the possible problems that could happen after the bifurcation.
Lagadapati's meeting assumes significance after his recent statement that he would retire from politics if the state was divided.
