Four days after she disappeared leaving a suicide note behind, Acharya NG Ranga Agriculture University assistant professor Spandana Bhatt returned home safely.Spandana's sudden disappearance has become a hot topic what with a note left at home saying that she was leaving the home to end her life. Spandana, who was married to one Dr Raju a year ago, had problems with him. He did not have a job and was splurging on the dowry money. Frustrated by her failure to make him mend his ways, Spandana decided to end her life.
The police, who investigated her disappearance, were baffled to find her cellphone signals emanating from Zaheerabad. After Wednesday evening, the mobile phone was switched off and it was a wild goose chase for the harried cops.
However, it was an anti-climax as Spandana returned home on Friday. After her return, the parents withdrew the complaint lodged with the police.
