'Kurnool or Donakonda should be made AP capital'

Representatives of Citizens Forum met YSRCP president Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday.

They requested Leader of Opposition to exert pressure on the state government to form the capital at a place which is acceptable to people of all districts in the state.

They submitted a memorandum to Y.S.Jagan on the same.

Speaking to reporters, the representatives said, “Kurnool should be made the capital as per Sribagh Agreement. If that is not possible, Donakonda in Prakasam district should be made the capital. We have also requested the Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu to form the capital at a place which is acceptable to the people of all districts.”

The representatives said that Y.S.Jagan had responded favorably to their request.
