Kukunurpally Sub-Inspector Shoots Self To Death 

Hyderabad: Sub-Inspector of Police at Kukunurpally in Kondapaka mandal of Medak district B. Ramakrishna Reddy committed suicide by shooting himself with his service revolver at Tuesday midnight.

Ramakrishna Reddy(46) left a suicide note in which he said he was unable to bear the harassment by the higher ups. He reported to have spoken to some of his colleagues over the phone and told them he was going to take the extreme step. However, by the time one of his colleagues reached his home at the police quarters, he was lying in a pool of blood and was declared dead by the doctors.

Ramakrishna Reddy earlier worked in various police stations in Hyderabad and is survived by wife and two children who living in Hyderabad. Hours before shooting himself to death, he called his wife and told her he was quitting job.

The police are investigating into the case from the official harrassment angle.
