Kukatpally RTA Office To Remain Closed For 2 Days Due To Fire Accident

Hyderabad: A fire broke out at RTA Office located at Kukatpally Housing Board (KPHB) colony in Kukatpally in the early hours of Tuesday. The cause of fire was an electric short-circuit that took place at 3 am. The records, documents, an inverter battery, computers and card-printer got engulfed in the fire.

The fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the flames and which were brought under control after two hours of operation.

Due to the mishap, the office will not be functional on Tuesday and Wednesday, the motor vehicle inspector said in a statement.
